Frequently Asked Questions 1. How long will my flowers last? We buy our flowers directly from the growers, and hand-select only the freshest, most beautiful blooms. We carefully process each stem, for maximum water and nutrient absorption. Your arrangements and bouquets will be perfectly developed for the day of your affair, and will continue to last for approximately a week. 2. Am I able to get flowers that are out of season? Seasonal flowers are always the best, for their beauty and price, but most flowers are available year round by import. This may affect the price and quality. 3. Are there specific "wedding flowers"? The flowers for your wedding are completely your choice, and should be an individual reflection of your personality, and the ambience you wish to create. 4. What areas do you service? Generally, we work in the five boroughs of New York, as well as in Nassau and Suffolk counties. However, we will travel further, even out of state, for an additional charge. We have been the designers for receptions in Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Florida. Our popular gift collections, including honeymoon baskets, are available for shipment nationwide. 5. Is there a charge for delivery? We deliver and set up all of the decorations at your home, ceremony, and reception sites at no additional charge for Long Island and NYC. A surcharge for outside areas will be applied to your total. 6. Can I make changes to the contract after I sign? Yes. Changes and adjustments can always be made. We want you to be happy with everything and are here to accommodate you. Major changes such as color scheme and flower choices must be made no later than thirty days prior to your event. Minor adjustments such as a change in table count, corsages, etc. should be finalized ten days prior to the event. 7. How much of a deposit do you require? We ask for a 10% deposit to save your date. After that, a 50% deposit is due one month prior to your event with the balance due two weeks prior. Any adjustments or additions may be paid for any day up to and including the event date.
